 **UPDATE** #LASD Homicide Detectives Responded to Stabbing Death, 1100 Block of East 91^st Street, Los Angeles

Los Angeles County Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the stabbing of a male Hispanic adult that occurred on the 1100 Block of East 91^st St, Los Angeles on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:20 A.M.

Detectives have learned that deputies assigned to South Los Angeles station responded to the location regarding a burglary that had just occurred. Upon their arrival, they contacted the victim who stated he was inside of his residence when one male Black suspect, 20-25 years old, another male Black suspect, 22-25 years old, and a male Hispanic suspect, 23-25 years old, entered his home and began to attack him.

All 3 suspects began to punch and kick the victim all over his body.
During the course of the fight, the victim’s brother, who was outside at the time, entered the residence and attempted to intervene.

In an effort to stop the assault, the victims’ brother stabbed the male Hispanic suspect in the upper torso numerous times.

All 3 suspects fled the location in a vehicle in an unknown direction and out of view.

A short time later, deputies from South Los Angeles station conducted a stop of the vehicle and were able to detain one of the male Black suspects, and the male Hispanic suspect. The male Hispanic suspect was suffering from several stab wounds to his upper torso. He was treated at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department and was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The initial victim from the assault and burglary was also transported to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

There is no known motive at this time, and the investigation is still on-going.

NARRATIVE: Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are responding to the 1100 Block of East 91^st Street, Los Angeles to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a male adult which occurred on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at approximately 11:54 A.M.
 
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information at this time.
