Puppies and kittens and turtles, oh my!

Yes, Franklinites, it is PETS, PETS, PETS Day at the Franklin Township Community Farmers Market. Join us as we celebrate Franklin's furriest friends!  Play to win pet prizes at the Farmers Market Table. Leashed pets ONLY are welcome, but must be cleaned up after.

Second Chance for Animals is a key supporter of the Franklin Township Animal Shelter. Currently, the Animal Shelter is especially in need of paper towels and scrubby sponges, but they always welcome new, unexpired cat/dog/kitten/puppy food, new toys, bleach, laundry detergent, and dish soap to help care for the critters!  They are also always accepting newspapers used to line the cages. Monetary donation are also always appreciated.

Donate at the Second Chance for Animals booth in for a chance to win a Snyders Farm Gift Basket or to be eligible special discounts at Sipology and Elijah’s Promise!

Community Groups:

Second Chance for Animals will be present to provide information about pet adoption. They’ll also be selling handcrafted picture frames, earrings, magnets and such to raise money to support the Franklin Township Animal Shelter and would love to meet more of their supporters! 

• League of Women Voters will be registering individuals to vote and selling items from their annual garage sale. 

• Franklin Township Animal Shelter will be open for potential pet adoptions. Who knows, maybe your next best friend is waiting for you!!
