Storms in the area are expected to dissipate by mid to late morning. Other isolated thunderstorms will be possible over the southern half of
the region by afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall and lightning will
be the primary concerns.
Heat indices will gradually increase over the weekend and peak
around 100 degrees both Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
