INCIDENT: Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit a Crime

LOCATION: 12300 block of Mariposa Road, Victorville

SUSPECT(S): William Lawrence Peairs, 27-year old Baldy Mesa resident
Lisa Joan Osborne (Cloyd), 35-year old Baldy Mesa resident

VICTIM: 37-year old male

SUMMARY: On June 26, 2019, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the Vallarta Market in the 12300 block of Mariposa Road, for a robbery that had just occurred.

Upon arrival, deputies learned a male and female suspect entered the store and placed multiple items in a shopping cart. The two then exited the store without paying for the items. A security guard asked the male suspect who was pushing the cart for his receipt, and the suspect ignored the victim and continued towards the parking lot. The victim asked again for the receipt and the male suspect produced a taser and tased the victim. Both suspects got into a vehicle and left the scene, leaving the unpaid items in the parking lot.

Deputies were able to obtain information identifying the suspects as William Lawrence Peairs and Lisa Joan Osborne (Cloyd), both of Baldy Mesa. Deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station located Peairs and Osborne at the Baldy Mesa residence.

Peairs was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime. Osborne was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for conspiracy to commit a crime. Both suspects are scheduled to appear in Victorville Superior Court on June 28, 2019.
The victim did not require medical attention.
