SMPD investigating commercial burglary at Walgreens
San Mateo Police are investigating a commercial burglary at Walgreens where an ATM was stolen after the front door was smashed by a stolen car.
On Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 3:52 A.M. San Mateo Police Department officers were dispatched to Walgreens Pharmacy located at 191 E 3rd Avenue regarding a burglary alarm call. Officers discovered Walgreens’ front doors were crashed into by a stolen car and the ATM was taken. The stolen car and ATM were recovered near Walgreens by officers. This is an active investigation and more information will be released when available.
