Stop The Bleed Training - July 26th

The Corcoran Police Department, in partnership with the Central California EMS Agency, will be presenting “Stop the Bleed” training on July 26, 2019, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, at the Corcoran High School Technology Learning Center (TLC). This training will teach participants how to save a life and stop the bleeding after an active shooter or intentional mass casualty event. Participants will explore the “Hartford Consensus” and its overarching principle that no one should die from uncontrolled bleeding. At the conclusion of the training, participants will know how to stop bleeding by applying pressure, utilizing a tourniquet or packing the wound.
Anyone interested in registering for this valuable training needs to contact Rachelle Cortez at (559)992-5151 ext. 272, or email: [email protected].
This FREE training is being offered to anyone in the community.
Space is limited, so please call Rachelle to add your name to the list of attendees.
