Deputies arrest Thomas Sanchez of Needles for Theft of Utilities and Marijuana Cultivation 
DATE/TIME: June 23, 2019 @ 1738 hours.
INCIDENT: Theft of Utilities - Marijuana Cultivation.
LOCATION: 800 block Market Street, Needles
SUSPECT: Thomas Sanchez, age 50 a resident of Needles
SUMMARY:
On Monday, June 23, 2019, at approximately 5:38 p.m. the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department responded to the 800 block of Market Street in the city of Needles, reference a residential house fire. The fire department quickly extinguished the fire and located an indoor marijuana grow in the garage of the residence. The source of the fire was caused by a non- permitted electrical bypass.The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Marijuana Team responded and removed 338 marijuana plants, chemicals and grow equipment from the residence. Sanchez was taken into custody for PC 498(D) Theft of Utilities and HS 11358, Cultivation of Marijuana and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Sanchez is being held on $25,000 bail, pending a court hearing.
