Deputies respond to the 7700 block of McKinley Street following the report of shots fired

SUMMARY:
On Saturday, June 22nd, at approximately 11:30 pm, deputies from the Highland Police Department responded to a “shots fired” call and a report that two subjects were shot at the location.
Deputies arrived and found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The crime scene stretched about a quarter of a block. Based on what was found, it appears the shooting occurred in the street in front of the location. At least one parked vehicle was struck by the gunfire. No one else was injured.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds. Their condition is currently unknown.
