TRAFFIC ADVISORY – Street Collapse Closes 100 Block of Palm Street 
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that due to a street collapse in the 100 block of Palm Street, traffic is closed in the area.
At approximately 6:15 p.m., police responded to a call of a street collapse and observed a 6-ft. wide hole filled with water in the street. Members of the Newark Water Department and PSE&G responded to the area to make repairs.
Director Ambrose urges drivers to expect delays and to plan alternate routes.
