* Until 830 AM CDT.

* At 750 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Avondale to near Peculiar, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Kansas City, Independence, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Raytown, Liberty, Gladstone, Grandview, Belton, Raymore, Grain Valley, Pleasant Hill, Oak Grove, Greenwood, Peculiar, North Kansas City, Sugar Creek, Buckner, Holden and Lake Lotawana.
