* At 625 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lansing, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Kansas City, Overland Park, Independence, Shawnee, Lenexa, Leavenworth, Leawood, Raytown, Grandview, Prairie Village, Lansing, Merriam, Mission, Bonner Springs, Parkville, Basehor, Edwardsville, North Kansas City, Fairway and Mission Hills.
