The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Cuyahoga County in northeastern Ohio... Northern Medina County in northeastern Ohio... Northern Summit County in northeastern Ohio... Lorain County in north central Ohio...
* Until 930 PM EDT Thursday.
* At 233 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen. Additional rainfall is expected through early this evening. This in combination with recent rains will lead to rapid runoff. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cleveland, Akron, Lorain, Elyria, Medina, Vermilion, Parma, Lakewood, Cuyahoga Falls, Euclid, Cleveland Heights, Strongsville, Brunswick, Westlake, North Royalton, North Ridgeville, Kent, Solon, Avon Lake and Hudson.
* AFFECTED AREAS: SUMMIT, OH ... MEDINA, OH ... LORAIN, OH ... CUYAHOGA, OH
