Wilmington Police arrest Newark man on drug charges: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a Newark man on drug charges.
On June 17 at approximately 4:02 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division were in the 300 block of East 23rd Street when they observed 57-year-old Brian Johnson, of Newark, rolling a cocaine-laced marijuana blunt in his vehicle.
Police approached Johnson and took him into custody without incident, also recovering 14 bags of heroin and loose crack cocaine and marijuana.
Johnson has been charged with three counts of drug possession. He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and released on $3,000 unsecured bail.
