Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Quintin Beltre-Lebron, 43, of Newark, in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

Police responded to Direct Waste & Recycling Services, located at 217 Poinier Street, at 9:15 a.m. on a call of a fight between two male workers. One of the men was taken to the hospital after being struck with a crowbar.

Detectives investigating this incident have identified Quintin Beltre-Lebron as the suspect in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
