Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting that occurred on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at approximately 8:16 P.M. on the 1200 Block of West 105th Street, Los Angeles.
Detectives have learned deputies assigned to South Los Angeles Station responded to the location regarding a call of an assault with a deadly weapon that had just occurred. Upon their arrival, deputies located three victims at three different residences that were in close proximity to each other.
One male Black adult sustained at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two adult female victims were transported to a local hospital. One female sustained a gunshot wound and the other sustained severe head trauma. The condition of the two female victims is unknown at this time.
The case appears to be a domestic incident and a family member has been detained pending further investigation.
The scene remains active and the investigation is ongoing. There is no additional information available at this time.
