Flood Warning

Flood Warning until 3:15 AM on Thursday for small streams and low-lying areas. Do not drive through flooded roads.


The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Warning for... 
  northeastern Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania... 

* until 315 am EDT Thursday.

* At 905 PM EDT, minor flooding was occurring along Pennypack creek 
  in northeast Philadelphia. The minor flooding will continue 
  overnight with the creek expected to return within its banks 
  before daybreak on Thursday.

* Some locations that are experiencing minor flooding include... 
  Holmesburg and northeast Philadelphia. 

Precautionary/preparedness actions... 

Turn around... don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
