This will lead to critical fire weather conditions across the warned area tomorrow afternoon and early evening. The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from noon to 9 PM MDT Thursday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 207 Southwest Colorado Lower Forecast Area.
* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for the rapid ignition, growth, and spread of fires. Agricultural burning is strongly discouraged.
