Several lane closures are that were scheduled for street repair activities on Tuesday, June 18, have been extended through 4 a.m. on Wednesday morning, June 19. Due to a delay in work activities, as well as the warm, sunny weather experienced on Tuesday afternoon, the asphalt patch that was placed will not be set and ready for traffic by the original closure deadline.

The following streets will have lane closures, through 4 a.m. on Wednesday:
• Randolph Road (1500 Block) from Milton Avenue to Randall Avenue
o Closed to all westbound traffic; eastbound lane will remain open.
• Milton Avenue/Highway 26 from Blackbridge Road to 200 feet north of Randolph Road (1800 - 2000 Block)
o 2 northbound lanes of traffic will be closed; one northbound lane will remain open.
o Access to businesses will be closed on Milton Avenue, but side road access will be maintained.
Traffic congestion should be expected, primarily during the afternoon commute, so please plan accordingly.

Janesville Transit System routes will be affected by this closure, as outlined below:
• Route 1: Milton Avenue:
o Bus Stop #156 near Milton Avenue and Black Bridge Road (McDonalds) will be closed.
o Bus Stop #339 near Milton Ave and Randolph Rd (Post Office) will be closed.
o Passengers should use Bus Stop #155 (Creston Park) or a Temporary Bus Stop near Milton Lawns Cemetery until all lane closures have ended
