The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has extended the

* Flood Advisory for... South central Morris County in northern New Jersey... Hunterdon County in northwestern New Jersey... Northwestern Mercer County in central New Jersey... Somerset County in northern New Jersey... Northern Middlesex County in northern New Jersey... Northwestern Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Southeastern Lehigh County in eastern Pennsylvania... Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 426 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include... New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Somerville, Somerset, Edison, East Brunswick, Bridgewater, South Brunswick, Sayreville, North Brunswick, Carteret, Lansdale, Middlesex, Bound Brook, Manville, Quakertown, Perkasie, Doylestown, Byram and Souderton. Additional rainfall of up to one inch is expected over the area. This additional rain will fall on ground that ground that is already saturated and will quickly turn into runoff, resulting in minor flooding.
