The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... East central Monmouth County in central New Jersey... Southern Middlesex County in northern New Jersey...
* Until 630 PM EDT.
* At 235 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly in the areas of heaviest rain.
* Some locations that could experience flooding include... Long Branch, Asbury Park, Old Bridge, Marlboro, Tinton Falls, Holmdel, Red Bank, Jamesburg, Cranbury, Farmingdale, East Freehold, Robertsville, Clearbrook Park, Yorketown, Elberon, Whittingham, Collingwood Park, Lincroft, Morganville and Princeton Meadows. Rainfall amounts of up to two inches are possible in the warned area in a very short period of time which will cause flash flooding.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MIDDLESEX, NJ ... MONMOUTH, NJ
