GTPD Community Bulletin: Things You May Have Missed Last Week At GTPD

We started our week off on Monday when we celebrated many achievements at the Gloucester Township Council Meeting. We started off the evening swearing in three new officers, Ptl Szovati, Ptl Yakub, and Ptl Gallagher.  Chief Earle and Agent Selfridge recognized four participants of the Children’s Garden.  Mayor Mayer presented Chief Earle and the Gloucester Township Police Department the plaque for coming in first for National Night Out in the state of NJ and 7th in the country in 2018.  We ended the night recognizing the newest graduates of the Citizens Police Academy. We congratulate everyone who received awards!

On Tuesday We highlighted our supervisors who attended our Leadership training.  The #GTPD is aware and committed to building and preparing our future police leaders.

On Thursday We flashed back to the way our dispatch center used to look like for Throwback Thursday and see the huge difference compared to now. #TBT

On Thursday we also recognized #PRIDE month as our officers understand that creating meaningful partnerships is about establishing an enhanced communication between our community members. We are proud to serve our diverse population and one reason why our Special Liaison Unit was created to connect law enforcement and different demographics.  Pictured is one of our finest, Ptl. Randy Pearce, who is one of our LGBTQ Liaisons and always available to assist our community.
