* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northwestern Los Alamos County in north central New Mexico... South central Rio Arriba County in north central New Mexico... Northeastern Sandoval County in north central New Mexico...

* Until 315 PM MDT.

* At 216 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northwest of Los Alamos, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Abiquiu, Chili and Medanales. This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 337 and 340.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LOS ALAMOS, NM ... RIO ARRIBA, NM ... SANDOVAL, NM
