Flash Flood Watch until 02:00PM Tuesday

The ground across much of Central Indiana is saturated. A pair of weather systems are expected to bring rounds of showers and thunderstorms to Central Indiana this afternoon and again tonight. Should heavy rain occur...Flash Flooding will be possible. The greatest threat for flash flooding is along and south of I-70. The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of central Indiana, east central Indiana, south central Indiana, southeast Indiana, southwest Indiana, and west central Indiana, including the following areas, in central Indiana, Bartholomew, Boone, Decatur, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Rush, and Shelby. In east central Indiana, Henry. In south central Indiana, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence, and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin, and Sullivan. In west central Indiana, Clay, Owen, Putnam, and Vigo.

* Heavy rain is possible this afternoon and again tonight. Heavy rain falling over already saturated ground could result in Flash Flooding.
