A six year old suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a residential driveway

LOCATION: 26400 Block of 9th Street, Highland
VICTIM: 6-year-old boy
SUMMARY:
On June 15, 2019 at 9:12 p.m. deputies from the Highland Police Department were dispatched to the 26400 block of 9th St for a report of a six-year-old child that was hit by a vehicle in a residential driveway. Deputies and Cal Fire personnel arrived on scene and rendered aid to the child. The child had visible injuries and was transported to the Loma Linda University Medical Center by AMR. The child is currently in a critical condition and is undergoing surgery.
