This Saturday, June 15, 2019 the Borough of Carlstadt is proud to present numerous events celebrating our wonderful town.
 
153^rd Annual School Picnic
11:00 AM – 1:30 PM @ Carlstadt Public School
 
The first event of the day will be the 153^rd Annual School Picnic.  Festivities will begin with the School Parade for all Carlstadt students from the Carlstadt Public School marching from the Civic Center on Fourth Street to the school.  Once the parade arrives at the school, there will be food, games and music.  Prizes will be given out to those C.P.S. students who march in the parade.  The event will be rain or shine and is free to attend for everyone.
 
C.F.D. Engine 1 Family Barbecue
4:00 PM – 8:00 PM @ Jefferson Street Firehouse
 
Carlstadt Fire Department Engine Company 1 “Bergen’s Best” will be hosting their annual Family Barbecue.  There is a $20 per person donation, children under 7 are free, which includes all you can eat  BBQ fare, beer, wine, soda and deserts as well as live music from the Crossover Band.  The event will be rain or shine.
 
Movie Under the Stars
8:30 PM @ Lindbergh Field
 
The day’s activities will conclude with our Movie Under the Stars.  For this outing, we will be presenting the family movie, “Sing” featuring the voice talents of Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon and many others.  Bring your blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show.  In the event of rain, the movie will be moved into the cafeteria of the school, entrance by the Union Street parking lot.
