Synopsis: Two marked San Diego Police cruisers were driving westbound on 100 W Washington St. A female pedestrian was standing on the north curb line of the street, not in a crosswalk. She entered the roadway into the path of the police cruisers and was struck by both vehicles. The pedestrian was transported to UCSD hospital where she was pronounced dead. Traffic Division is investigating.
