The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a
* Flood Warning for... Northeastern Davidson County in central North Carolina...
* Until 115 PM EDT Saturday
* At 712 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain dumped between two and four inches of rain across the headwaters of Abbotts Creek. The river gage on Abbotts Creek north of Lexington exceeded the 14 ft flood stage around 7 AM, and continued to slowly climb.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lexington.
* AFFECTED AREAS: DAVIDSON, NC
