Progress on Cordelia Fire has stopped, Cordelia Rd closed until approx 6pm

Progress on the Cordelia Fire has stopped.  Evacuations are lifted but Cordelia Road remains closed while firefighters continue clean-up operations in the burn area. 

No structures burned in the 4 alarm fire, which is estimated to have burned 24 acres.  27 fire engines helped fight the fire from multiple North Bay Fire Departments.  Cal Fire also sent a helicopter to assist.  

Approximately fifty homes in the unincorporated area were evacuated but all of those have been lifted.  Cordelia Road will remain closed until clean up operations are complete, which is estimated to be until 6pm.

Cordelia Road is closed between Link Road and Hale Ranch Road due to a grass fire.  Fairfield Fire Department is working with other fire agencies to extinguish the fire. 

Several residences on Thomasson Lane are being evacuated by the Solano County Sheriff's Office.  There is no current estimated time to reopen the road.  

Everyone is asked to avoid the area so that fire equipment can get in and out.
