First Friday Event to Affect Downtown Beaufort Traffic Tonight, June 7 
Due to the First Friday event this evening, June 7th, Bay Street from Charles Street to Carteret Street in Downtown Beaufort will be closed to vehicular traffic. The roadway will be pedestrian traffic only between 4:30 PM and 8:00 PM.
Motorists traveling near this area can expect delays and are encouraged to use an alternate route if possible.
The Woods Memorial Bridge will remain open to motorists during this event.
