Deputies arrest Nicholas Hernandez for possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance

INCIDENT: PC 29800(A)(1) Felon in Possession of a Firearm, H&S 11378 Possession of a controlled substance for Sales and H&S 11370.1(A) Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed.
LOCATION: 2300 Block of Turquoise Circle, Chino Hills
SUSPECT: Nicholas Hernandez, 20 years old a resident of Chino Hills
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, June 6, 2019, at approximately 9:30 am, deputies and detectives from the Chino Hills Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Turquoise Circle to serve a search warrant for illicit drug sales at a residence. The investigation was initiated as a result of information from a We-Tip. During the service of the warrant, a handgun was located. In addition to the handgun, ammunition, narcotic paraphernalia, narcotics and U.S. currency were located.
Nicholas Hernandez was arrested on numerous charges including being a felon in possession of firearms and possession of narcotics for sales.
