Serial Burglar Arrest

ACCUSED: Randolph C. Mcleod 39 year old male/ Irvington NJ
NARRATIVE:
Within the past several weeks, patrol officers and detectives responded to multiple residential burglaries in the Oakhurst section of Ocean Township. Some residences were left unlocked and some sustained damage when the suspect forced entry. Detectives continued their investigation and information was developed which led them to the suspect, Randolph C. Mcleod of Irvington.
On June 3rd, 2019, Randolph Mcleod was located at his residence in Irvington NJ and taken into custody by Detectives. Detectives have recovered proceeds from numerous burglaries from multiple jurisdictions. Mcleod was charged with Possession of a Weapon, Certain Persons not to possess Weapons and multiple counts of burglary, theft, possession of burglary tools, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. He was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending his initial court appearance.
