Mariah Hernandez of Apple Valley is arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle

LOCATION: 500 Block Merriman Ave. Needles, CA.
SUSPECT: Mariah Hernandez, age 23 a resident of Apple Valley
VICTIM: Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at 9:27 am, deputies responded to the 500 block of Merriman Avenue in the city of Needles, reference a female subject in possession of a stolen vehicle. Deputies made contact with the Fort Mohave Tribal Police. Through investigation, it was determined the vehicle was “carjacked” in Alhambra, California on June 1, 2019, by an unknown male. Mariah Hernandez was found to have taken possession of the vehicle in Victorville, California. Hernandez was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Colorado River Station jail. Hernandez is being held on $50,000 bail, pending a court hearing.
