Deputies arrest Timothy Spence for possession of a stolen vehicle

INCIDENT: Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
LOCATION: 1100 Block of 3rd Street, Needes, CA.
SUSPECT: Timothy David Spence, 60, Williams, AZ.
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at 8:52 pm, deputies were in the area of the 1100 block of 3rd Street in the city of Needles, conducting routine vehicle checks. Deputy Hernandez located a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Cerritos, California. Deputies made contact with the occupants of the vehicle. Through investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Timothy Spence, was taken into custody for possession of a stolen vehicle. Spence was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Spence is being held on $50,000 bail, pending a court hearing.
