* Flash Flood Watch for portions of southeast Kansas and Missouri, including the following areas, in southeast Kansas, Bourbon, Cherokee, and Crawford. In Missouri, Barry, Barton, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Howell, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Oregon, Ozark, Polk, Shannon, Stone, Taney, Texas, Vernon, Webster, and Wright.
* From 7 AM CDT this morning through Friday morning
* Thunderstorms containing excessive rainfall are expected to develop today, becoming more widespread by tonight. Amounts will range from 1 to 3 inches in the watch area. Locally higher amounts up to 4 inches will be possible.
