Deputy David Jones of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Jimmy Eugene Walker Jr., 55, address listed as Sugar Hill Road in Marion, with resisting a public officer. Walker was also served with an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.
                On the evening of Tuesday, May 4, deputies were called to Walker’s residence in reference to a domestic dispute. When they arrived, Walker fled into the woods.
                A couple of hours later, they were called back to the scene, where Walker again ran into the woods. Deputies, along with K-9 Loki, tracked the suspect and apprehended him a short time later.
