* Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected tonight through Thursday. The rainfall will be heavy at times.
* Widespread rainfall totals of 4 to 8 inches are expected generally southeast of the Highway 59/69 corridor and 1 to 3 inches further northwest. There could be some isolated much higher totals. Several inches of rain falling in a short time period would increase the overall flash flood threat.
