Narrative:
On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at approximately 9:11 PM, Pomona Police Officers responded to the 1600 block of S. Palomares St reference a victim of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a male in his 40’s who had been shot 9 times. The male was still conscious and provided information to officers prior to being transported to a local hospital for treatment of his gunshot wounds.
During the investigation, Pomona Police Officers discovered the suspects’ shot into a home where 3 children were playing video games in the front room of the home. The bullets fired from the suspects’ handguns narrowly missed the children, striking a wall just above where they were sitting. Fortunately two other family members who were inside the home were not hit.
At this time there are no suspects in custody and officers are still actively investigating the shooting.
