Reminder: SFPD will host Special Olympics Torch Run Wed 6/5 @ 9am Best viewing locations Maclay Ave First to Fifth St & San Fernando Mall. 
SFPD wants to remind you that the Special Olympics Torch Run is happening at 9 am on Wednesday June 5th.
The purpose of the event is to carry the Flame of Hope throughout the City to increase awareness, inclusion and respect for the Special Olympic athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Please come out and support the SFPD Officers, Professional staff, City employees, DMV Investigators, and LA School Police Officers Running with the torch and carrying this message of hope.
The best viewing locations are along Brand Blvd between Mott St and Third Street, Maclay Avenue between First and Fifth Street, The Civic Center in front of the Police Station and in the Mall between San Fernando Mission Blvd and Rydell Automotive.
Please come out and cheer on our team and our special guest, local athlete Gerardo Del La Cerda.
