ATV Crash

Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Benhke states his Deputies handled an ATV crash that took place on private property in the Calvin Township, Cass County Michigan. On 6-4-2019 at 7:12pm Deputies responded to an ATV crash in the 20,000 block of Osborn Street located in Calvin Township. When Deputies arrived they located the driver of the ATV to be Taylor McGrath 26 year old female from Elkhart, Indiana was being treated by first responders. McGrath was traveling across the back yard of a residence when she lost control of the ATV overturned and landed on top of her causing injuries. McGrath was transported to Elkhart General Hospital by Life Care Ambulance. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash and a helmet was utilized.
Cass County Sheriffs Office was assisted by Penn Township Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance.
