Caesar Garcia was arrested for vehicle burglary & possession of stolen property after returning to the crime scene

LOCATION: 11500 Block of Lincoln Road, in Lucerne Valley
SUSPECT: Caesar Garcia, 31 years-old, resident of Lucerne Valley
VICTIM: 19-year-old male, resident of Lucerne Valley
SUMMARY:
On Monday, June 3, 2019 at 11:40am, deputies responded to the report of a vehicle burglary in the 11500 block of Lincoln Road in Lucerne Valley.
The victim’s vehicle was parked in front of his residence when someone smashed out the back window and took all his belongings. Deputies completed a police report for the crime; however, no suspects were seen in the area and no arrests were made.
Later the same evening, the victim called 911 when he located and detained a man, later identified as Caesar Garcia, in a motorhome parked on his property. Deputies arrived and arrested Garcia without incident. Garcia was found in possession of items stolen from the victim’s vehicle earlier in the day and had returned to the property to steal more items.
