A head-on collision on Waalew Rd. results in one driver airlifted and 5 others transported to a local hospital

Driving a silver 2001 Honda Accord
INVOLVED PARTY #2: 2 adults & 3 juveniles, all residents of Apple Valley
Driving a maroon 2012 Chrysler Town & Country
SUMMARY:
On June 4, 2019, at 2:31 PM, the 2001 Honda Accord was traveling west on Waalew Road west of Central Road. The 2012 Chrysler Town and Country was traveling east. For unknown reasons, the Honda Accord crossed into opposing lanes, directly into the path of the Chrysler, and the two vehicles collided head-on. The driver of the Honda suffered unknown injuries and was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center by helicopter. The five occupants of the Chrysler were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
