Please be advised of the following community events that have road closures, and may cause traffic congestion in the area.
Thursday, June 13 – Babylon Village
5:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Babylon Village Block Party event with the following road closures:
Deer Park Ave., between Park Ave. and Railroad Ave[ the intersection of Railroad Ave. and George St. will remain open to through traffic]
Deer Park Ave. to Main St. and Fire Island Ave. south of Main to the municipal lot (south of the Carriage House).
Sunday, June 16- Deer Park
9 am - Noon
The Ray Downey Runner Relay Charity Scholarship Fund, Deer Park
5K – Begins at 759 Long Island Ave. (Knights of Columbus). Then proceeding north on Rt 231 to Oak St, to Patricia Ave., to Nicholls Rd. to Villa Ave., to Florida St. to Homer ave. to Nicholls Rd. to Glenda to the finish.
Kids Fun Run- East on Long Island Ave. to Glenda Dr., north to the finish.
