Suffolk County Police today arrested a North Amityville man for a 2016 murder.
Homicide Squad detectives charged Adrian Harrison, 32, of 26 North Somerset Road, with Murder 2nd Degree for the shooting death of Jason White that occurred on July 4, 2016.
Harrison will be held overnight at the First Precinct and arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on June 4.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Incident: One Man Dead, One Man Injured in North Amityville Shooting

Date/Time: Monday, July 4, 2016 at 3:19 a.m.
Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that killed one man and injured another in North Amityville early this morning.
Police received a 911 call at 3:19 a.m. reporting that two men were shot in front of 18 Emerald Lane North. Jason White and a 28-year-old Wyandanch man were transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore. White, 38, of West Babylon, died from his injuries and the 28-year-old victim was admitted in serious condition.
