Wilmington Police arrest man found with stolen firearm 
Wilmington Police have arrested a 25-year-old man found with a stolen firearm.
On May 29 at approximately 3:15 p.m., members of the Street Crimes Unit were in the area of Cedar and Wright Streets when they observed 25-year-old Malik Brown walking in the area. Officers observed the outline of a handgun on Brown’s side, and police attempted to stop him. Brown attempted to flee and struggled with officers before he was taken into custody without further incident.
Police recovered a loaded handgun found to have been reported stolen, and have charged Brown with the following offenses:
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Receiving a Stolen Firearm
- Resisting Arrest
Brown was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $15,000 secured bail.
