Wilmington Police arrest man after burglary
Wilmington Police have arrested and charged a 41-year-old man after a burglary.
On May 25 at approximately 12:42 p.m., a police officer on proactive patrol was flagged down in the 200 block of South Jackson Street in reference to a burglary in progress. Police learned that a man had come to work on his property when he observed an individual climbing out of a first-floor window.
Police made contact with 41-year-old Crisobal Lopez-Silva, who matched the description of the suspect, and arrested him without incident.
Lopez-Silva has been charged with burglary (third degree), theft under $1,500 and criminal impersonation. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $1,800 unsecured bail.
