Wilmington Police make arrest, recover loaded revolver 
Wilmington Police have arrested a 21-year-old man found with a loaded revolver.
On May 23 at approximately 9:25 p.m., members of the Safe Streets Task Force and the Street Crimes Unit were in the 100 block of North Van Buren Street conducting a gun investigation. They approached 21-year-old Jawahn Harper, who was found to have a loaded .22-caliber revolver in his waistband as well as a digital scale, ammunition and 29 grams of marijuana in his possession.
Harper was arrested and has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute
Harper was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $15,000 unsecured bail.
