The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... South central Pocahontas County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 628 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mountain Grove, or 9 miles southeast of Marlinton, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Minnehaha Springs.

* AFFECTED AREAS: POCAHONTAS, WV

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding.
