*UPDATE* #LASD Homicide Detectives Responding to Shooting Death Investigation, 18000 Blk of Newburgh St, Azusa

Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a Hispanic male adult in the unincorporated area of Azusa .
 
On Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:15 PM, deputies from San Dimas Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Newburgh Street and Rockvale Avenue in the unincorporated area of Azusa regarding a call of a gunshot victim. 
 
Upon arrival, they discovered a Hispanic male victim, unresponsive in the street,  suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 
 
There is no suspect description and the murder weapon is outstanding. 
 
This shooting appears to be gang related. 

The investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.

Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are responding to the 18000 Block of Newburgh Street, Azusa to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult which occurred on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at approximately 11:15 P.M.
 
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.
