Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Pico Rivera Station Detectives are continuing their investigation into the home invasion robbery occurred at the 8000 block of Buhman Avenue, Pico Rivera.

Deputies responded to the location regarding a home invasion robbery call at approximately 2:30 A.M. Upon their arrival, they have learned there was a large party held at the location and a few partygoers remained after the party had ended.

One male victim stepped out into the front yard to talk on the phone when he was approached by one of the suspects. Another suspect approached the victim from behind with a handgun requesting the victim’s cellphone and wallet.

The suspects then entered the residence detained several victims in the living room at gun point. One suspect passed a bag around demanding every one’s wallet and cellphone.

After collecting the demanded property, the suspects ran into a grey sedan, which was waiting outside of the location and fled south bound on Passons Boulevard towards Telegraph Road.

The homeowner followed the suspects in his own vehicle. The homeowner crashed into the rear of the suspects’ vehicle at Passons Boulevard and Telegraph Road. The crash apparently caused substantial damage to the suspects’ vehicle. The suspects continued on west bound Telegraph Road after the crash and remained outstanding.

There are no reported injuries.  

The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available at this time.
