SUMMARY: ************PHONE SCAM ALERT***************
On Friday, May 31, 2019, the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department received numerous reports from citizens stating they received phone calls from someone claiming to be from the police department. The phone calls appear to be coming from numbers that match the police department. The caller is advising victims they ignored a court summons and they need to report to the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department and sign an affidavit immediately to clear them off the list.
